Dr. James, an Associate Professor at Southeast Missouri State University, holds a Ph.D. in Public Policy and Administration from the University of Mississippi, a Master's in Public Administration from Jacksonville University, and a Bachelor's in Marketing from the University of Alabama.
He directs internships for nonprofit and government organizations and has developed various government programs in financial education and literacy. Active in research and professional organizations, he presents at conferences and focuses on U.S. democracy's economics and politics, particularly public policy and inequality issues.
